About Carcoar Pottery: Louise Purcell established Carcoar Pottery after she and her husband, Carl, moved to Carcoar in 1992. Louise has been potting since 1982 and has a large range of domestic and ornamental pottery on sale in her shop. Some of her pottery is presently displayed on this website. Louise is happy to send additional photos and information on request. For those of you who have already visited Louise's shop and may have purchased some of her work, and to those who have just discovered Carcoar Pottery on the web, it is hoped you enjoy browsing this site and that you will visit Carcoar Pottery again soon.

About Carcoar: The timeless village of Carcoar, classified by the National Trust, is the oldest settlement west of Bathurst and was gazetted in 1839. It is located on the Mid Western Highway approximately 50km from the Central Tablelands towns of Bathurst, Orange and Cowra.
